Product Recall Insurance (PRC)

The Insurer will indemnify for the Insured the Product Recall Expense arising out of a Covered Incident discovered and first reported to the Insurer during policy period.

Product Recall Expense may include:

• Cost of publishing the recall
• Cost of shipping product from user/purchaser/distributor to the place of return
• Cost of hiring persons for the analysis, research, inspection…
• Cost of renting additional warehouse
• Cost of disposal
• Cost of replacement/ repair any defection
• Cost of shippin new or non-defective replacement product

• Claim for bodily injury or property damage from third party arising out of the use or consumption of the Insured product
• Any breach of warranty with respect to the fitness, merchantability, quality, efficacy or efficiency
• Products which are prototypes, single-units or expertimental products …
